Too many myths about foods diet advocates exactly wrong. Unfortunately we already believe as the truth, of course, it could be a bad misunderstanding of being able to thwart our efforts to maintain or lose weight. So, what are these myths wrong?

Here are some examples:
1.Olive oil may be consumed at will
2.Junk food should be avoided completely
3.Dried fruit as good as fresh fruit
4.Chicken and fish better than bacon
5.Chicken meat may be eaten in large portions
6.Salad is the best menu for the diet
7.Frozen fruits and vegetables are not as good as fresh produce

The one fruit you should eat this winter

Scientists from the Scripps Clinic (San Diego) studied 100 men and women over a 12-week period. The volunteers were divided into three groups. One ate half a grapefruit with each meal, a second drank 8 ounces of grapefruit juice three times a day and a third acted as a control group. All groups maintained their regular eating habits over the 12 weeks. Despite the fact that none of the subjects actually dieted, the average weight loss in both the grapefruit and grapefruit juice groups was about 4 pounds, with several subjects losing more than 10 pounds.

While scientists aren't exactly sure how grapefruit stimulates weight loss, they do believe it may be due to chemical properties of the fruit that reduce insulin. Grapefruit also contains the flavonol naringin (which prolongs the thermogenic action of caffeine), as well as these nutrients:

      BREAKFAST with egg : make slim
      A study published in the Journal of Nutrition Research, researchers found that men who had breakfast with an egg-based menus tend to eat less at lunch than those who had breakfast with high-carbohydrate menu.

      These results, reinforcing previous studies stating breakfast with eggs helps reduce calorie intake at lunch time and helps reduce weight by 65%. They also proved that an egg breakfast have more energy than when choosing carbohydrate menu.

      Bodies need protein because it can be used as energy reserves when reserves of fat and carbohydrates in the body low.

      Nevertheless, a good breakfast menu should also contain carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and not too much fat.

      If you want to maintain weight, the egg could be a choice of breakfast menu. High-protein breakfast such as eggs can reduce hunger and prevent the excessive food at lunchtime.

      THE THREE apples a day plan: your foundation for permanent fatloss
      Sometimes it boggles my mind how many diet books writers and nutrition experts can come up with, each with their own special “gimmick.” Now there is a new diet book that suggests you eat three apples a day, one before each meal, for maximum weight loss and increased health.

      So I read Tammi Flynn’s The Three-Apples-A-Day Plan with great skepticism, only to be pleasantly surprised to find that there is in this book a simple and easy-to-follow plan for weight loss and health that takes the basics we’ve all been hearing about - cutting refined sugars and eating more protein and doing weight training with cardio - and adds the fun aspect of apples. Flynn, a registered dietician and Group Training instructor at Gold’s Gym, suggests that by following her very South Beach-sounding diet and exercise plan, you can achieve greater results by simply eating an apple, any kind of apple, before each main meal. The theory is that the fiber fills you up, and the sweetness satisfies your cravings, and as many of the author’s clients’ claim, it works wonders.

      Basicly, when we eat spicy food, a main complaint is the mouth feel hot for a few moments or a stomach ache. after that, we forget what's happening in our bodies ....
