FREE fatness by fish

It is highly recommended to consume fish rich in omega-3 such as salmon and Albacore tuna.

A study in Korea showed that fish consumption is beneficial to health. Consumption of at least one serving of fish per day will reduce the risk of metabolic syndrome trigger diabetes, heart disease and stroke.

The study, of 3500 adults aged 40-69 years in Korea found that men who ate one serving of fish every day had a 57 percent lower risk of suffering from metabolic syndrome than people who ate fish once per week. This syndrome is a combination of risk factors for diabetes, heart disease and stroke.

Dr. Merle Myerson, a cardiologist and director of the Heart Disease Prevention Program Hospital Luke's Roosevelt Hospital, suggest to consume of omega-3 rich fish such as salmon and Albacore tuna.

People who eat fish regularly proven to reduce the risk of abdominal obesity in the past three years. They also have levels of blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, HDL and lower triglycerides.
